Heikala
Heikala is an illustrator from Finland, who I recently found on Twitter through her participation in Inktober, where artists create an ink-based artwork every day in October. I love her style, combining clean and sketchy lines. I genuinely can't decide whether or not I like her colored pieces or her black and white pieces, because they're both so astounding. When she uses color, I love how vibrant they always look. Her black and white pieces have made me rethink how I feel about not using color; previously, I thought that black and white was inferior because you couldn't add as much color. However, her work has proven me wrong with how much detail she adds into everything that she does, including black and white.
